Discipline Practice has no way to identify a reader, and the sections below explain why that is a matter of construction rather than of policy.

Changes to This Page

This is a description of a build, so it is revised whenever the build is. A privacy page that has drifted from the site it describes is worse than none, so this one is kept in step.

Nothing Is Measured

No tracking script of any kind is loaded. Nothing measures who visits or what they read.

Hosting and Server Requests

The site is delivered through a hosting provider whose infrastructure sees each request. Technical details such as the requesting network address are kept for a short period for abuse prevention. This is a function of the hosting layer rather than something the site controls or has access to.

Leaving This Site

Following a link takes a reader somewhere this site does not run. Any site reached that way sets its own terms and handles data on its own account.

No Cookies

Browser storage is not used at all, cookies included. A second visit is indistinguishable from a first, because nothing from the first was retained.

No Sign-In

There is no form, no comment box, no newsletter signup and no account. No contact form, no subscription, no login, so no personal detail is ever transmitted.
